Oppo, I'm really thinking about saying "F" it all and moving to Germany. I have a very slight job prospect there. I don't know the language, I barely know 5 cities, 1/2 of the cities I know are related to race tracks. The closest person I know is my cousin, in the next country over. I see no downsides to this.

What car should I buy, is probably my biggest question.

Depends on your budget I'd say.. I'd get a german wagon, something manual.. 6 cylinders or more..

I say pick up a T-5 and bring it there:

Lighter, easier to work on, what else could a Jalop want? XD

Apparently its not a car at all... "This truly a rare bread of Mustang being a European model."

1. DO IT! Germany is a fantastic country with lots of cool people and things and such. Plus they have tasty treats like wienerschnitzel and spätzel! Oh, and the beer.

2. But something French. With a manual. And by French I of course mean a Citroën. They are funky and crazy and so different from anything we can get a hold of in the States.

Do it!

I've lived there twice. Once as an exchange student near Hamburg in high school, and the other as an intern at an HVAC research company in Karlsruhe. I absolutely loved it. Although I do speak German, most Germans speak great English and will want to practice their English with you. So, you can at least get buy until you pick up the language.

Oh, and but an Afla Giulietta or 159 wagon. So gorgeous!

One of the main reasons I think about going to Europe is the Afla 159 Wagon. That thing is so goddamn beautiful.
